LFW: Christopher Kane AW 2012
A Christopher Kane show tends to generate a more emotional reaction than most fashion shows and today’s was no different – just look to Vogue’s fashion editor Fran Burns’ response: “I just Tweeted the most emotional tweet ever – I actually get anxiety at this show between each look. I feel sick with excitement as it’s something so different and he teaches you new ways to see things – this time it was a bit of Goth, a bit of punk, but it’s always beautifully, elegantly refined and an absolute joy – I loved it.”
Effusive, maybe – but she wasn’t alone in her enthusiasm. Kane’s talent is for playing out a story so thoroughly; he has a unique idea and follows it through absolutely.
